Art in the Forest

Art in the Forest is a Land Art experience which took place in the National Park of Black River in Mauritius. Organised by pARTage association the event was an attempt to bring the viewers closer to nature by making them experience site-specific thought-provocative artworks, right in the forest.
Rocks were the common elements that the artist could link to his place of birth. His proposition for this event was entitled “Inside of me”. It was a succession of rock balancing installations on a path, similar to the tale Hop-o'-My-Thumb. A moment to let go and grief his late mother.
